ORÉGANO (ORIGAHUM VULAGARE)
Is used as a condiment. Traditionally, since ancient time, oregano has been used for indigestion, stomachaches, bloating, flatulence, coughs, bronchial problems, headaches, and swollen glands and to promote menstruation. It has been used to relieve fevers, vomiting and diarrhea. Externally it can be used to relieve pain from rheumatism, aching muscles, and itching. It is antimicrobial, antispasmodic and analgesic. 1 tsp. per cup. Steep.
